Henry came into the care of RDR in a very poor state, extremely underweight and with almost no hair.  It was heartbreaking to see him looking so sad and scared.  But several months have past and with good food, good veterinary treatment and buckets of TLC he has become the most handsome young dog with a personality to match.  He is 2 years old but due to his previous life is very puppy like in play and can still get a little over excited and rough.  He has been fine with the dogs we have introduced him to but does still get excited around small dogs and small furries so wouldn’t be suitable to be homed with them at present.  Henrys ideal home would be one without young children due to his size and strength and with someone experienced with the Dogue de Bordeaux breed or giant breeds in general and who is around most of the time to help him catch up on lost time.  You would also need to be able to cope with his drool!!  He could live with a dog of similar size but would settle as an only dog to.  Please only enquire if you have the time, space and knowledge to be able to offer Henry his forever home.Henry3 Henry2 Henry1
