Dogs Looking For Homes
Bailey
Hello.
Bailey is 20 months and is a very handsome dog. He has not had a lot
of attention or training so does pull on the lead and would benefit
from a home where his owners are experienced with big dogs and are
prepared to help him catch up. He would benefit from dog training
classes, plenty of walks and lots of love, discipline and affection.
Joshua
Hello.
I am Joshua, a 3 year old Labrador cross and I can't wait to find a
new home.
Like most Labradors, I love people and enjoy a good fuss.
I am looking for a home with older children and a garden to play in,
nice walks and plenty of companionship.
Do you think you would like me? I hope so!
Jonesy
Hello.
My name is Jonesy and I am a handsome (so they tell me) black
Labrador.
I am only 18 months old and love plenty of fun, games and walks. If
you have older children who like a game of footie then count me in!
I am a strong dog and I do pull on the lead so perhaps you could
take me to dog training classes. These are good fun and will help me
learn how to walk nicely on the lead.
I can't wait to meet my new mum and dad and hope it will be soon!
Bruce
Poor Bruce has come back to the charity and we are all devastated as
he is a firm favorite with all the volunteers.
When he first came to us he was in a very poor condition,
undernourished and depressed. Thanks to the love and attention of
his adopted owners he flourished and is such a happy, handsome boy!
Sadly he has come back to us as he is getting jealous of the
youngest child in the family. His new owners are sorry to part with
him and say he is perfect apart from this problem.
At 15 months old he is still a youngster and will soon settle into a
new family. He is good with cats and other dogs.
He recently came to one of our dog shows and won Best in Show- we
were all so proud of him! He behaved perfectly all day and his owner
couldn't fault him. Take a look on our event photo page and you will
see him behaving like the truly lovely dog he is.
Lea
Lea, 9 months old is a typical Border Collie. He is very handsome and
has a lovely nature. We are looking for a home where there will be
somebody about most of the time to keep him company and where he
will gets lots of good quality walks and playtime.
Any Border Collie fan with time to spare to keep him stimulated will
love Lea.
Jessie
Due to personal circumstances, 4 year old Jessie is unable to go with
her family into their new rented home. She is a very affectionate
dog who is good on the lead, fine with children and cats, She
actually has a special bark to great you and likes to socialise. She
is very well behaved and would like to find a family that can give
her long walks and play with her. A very good natured dog. She
actually broke her leg 2 years ago chasing seagulls over the harbour
wall. Unfortunately the tide was out and she fell on some rocks. She
has a pin in the leg that was broken but is now fine.
Patch
Jack Russell Patch is house trained, very good with children, and a
playful one year old. Sadly he was just too lively for the owners'
existing 10 year old dog and they reluctantly decided it would be
better for Patch to be re-homed to somebody who could give him the
life he deserves. He needs a home where he can use up some of his
energy.
Currently he is in a foster home where it has settled in very
quickly - last seen playing with their children and has just been
introduced to their cat.
He is a lovely little chap and would make a great pet for a Jack
Russell fan.
